Mission Statement
It is the mission of Appalachian Wood Products to maintain its status as an industry leader in cabinet component production. Our goal is to manufacture products of the highest quality at a competitive price for our customers. We plan to achieve this goal with the application of state of the art technology, innovation, and continuous improvement through the training and education of our employees.

Enviromental Statement
Appalachian Wood Products, Inc. is committed to protecting the environment by purchasing our lumber from companies who use renewable resource methods such as sustainable forest practices. Many of our suppliers are SFI or FSC certified. We train our employees to properly mark natural defects in our lumber to reduce the amount of wood waste generated.

We diligently strive to ensure that our manufacturing processes, our energy use and our employee efforts are at the maximum efficiency levels possible. We participate in energy conservation programs.

Because recycling is an important factor in caring for our environment, AWP recycles materials such as cardboard, steel/plastic straps and wood waste. To further reduce waste, we reuse our shipping pallets.

Together, we can work together to reduce usage, recycle and reuse so that there are always natural resources for future generations.
