Q. How can I obtain information about the products that Appalachian Wood manufactures?
A. AWP manufactures all products to our customers’ specific design and material requirements. Please submit drawings, sketches, or samples along with material specifications, sizes, and quantities in order to receive a quote. To contact customer service, please email custserv@appwood.com .
Q. Who are Appalachian Wood’s customers and where are they located?
A. Our customers are located throughout North America and are stock and semi custom kitchen cabinet and furniture manufacturers that generally build from inventory and order to replenish consumed material.
Q. What products does AWP produce?
A. Appalachian Wood produces solid hardwood raised panel, veneer panel, plywood and mullion doors; drawer fronts; and a wide variety of dimensioned and lineal cabinet and door framing.
Q. What type of wood does AWP use to produce its products?
A. We use a variety of hardwoods including cherry, red oak, soft and hard maple, hickory, and European birch.
Q. Where does Appalachian Wood purchase its lumber?
A. AWP purchases lumber from a variety of sources throughout North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
Q. How do I know that Appalachian Wood is large enough to meet my needs?
A. AWP has a wide range of equipment in our 266,000 square foot facility; we currently supply some of the largest cabinet makers in the industry. Our customer service staff has over 75 combined years of service and experience in the industry.
